Dulce Maria Kelley earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Her passion for the humanities led her to pursue studies in Art History at Universidad Iberoamericana before following her vocation to education. She later earned a master's degree in Family Education from Universidad Villanueva in Madrid and a master's degree in Spanish Language and Culture from the University of Salamanca in Spain.

Mrs. Kelley most recently taught English Literature for the Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) Program at a charter school in Lakewood Ranch. Previously, she taught elementary English, middle school World History, and provided literature instruction, tutoring, and academic counseling to bilingual middle and high school students at Catholic schools in Mexico City.

Mrs. Kelley and her husband Edward raised their two children in a richly multicultural family. Having lived in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, and now the United States, she brings a global perspective and a deep appreciation for the beauty of language, culture, and history to the classroom. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, painting, watching classic films, and cooking.

Mrs. Kelley is delighted to teach Literature, History, and Spanish at Chesterton Academy of St. Padre Pio, where she sees how a faithful Catholic classical education forms both the intellect and the heart of students by placing Christ at the center of learning. Through the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty, she seeks to inspire her students to think deeply, communicate thoughtfully, and grow in wisdom and virtue.
