We are honored to share the great news that Shawn Carney, the co-founder, CEO, and president of 40 Days for Life, will be speaking at our school.

He began as a volunteer in the pro-life movement while still in college. During this time, he helped to lead the first-ever local 40 Days for Life campaign, which has become an international movement. Thanks to this witness, more than 200 abortion workers have walked away from the abortion industry. Perhaps the most public one is that of Abby Johns0n, the former Planned Parenthood director. The 2019 movie, Unplanned, is about her story and Shawn and his wife Marilisa were portrayed in the movie for their role in her conversion.

Shawn is a regular media spokesperson and is one of the most sought after pro-life speakers today, addressing audiences coast-to-coast and internationally. He has executive produced and hosted award-winning pro-life documentaries and is the host of the weekly 40 Days for Life podcast. Shawn is the co-author of 40 Days for Life: Discover What God Has Done . . . Imagine What He Can Do and the author of the national best-seller The Beginning of the End of Abortion. Shawn lives in Texas with his wife and eight children.
