Throughout his distinguished career as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, and mentor, Mr. Jerome Scarcella has found his greatest joy in investing in the lives of young people. He believes every student is uniquely created by God and flourishes in a culture where they are known, challenged, and loved. His work has always centered on developing character, encouraging personal responsibility, and helping students recognize their God-given talents.

A native of New York, Mr. Scarcella earned both his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Exercise Science and his master's degree in Education from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Before entering education, he played five seasons of professional baseball after being selected in the fourth round of the 1972 Major League Baseball Draft by the San Francisco Giants. He later worked in sports rehabilitation with professional and Olympic athletes, experiences that instilled the discipline, perseverance, humility, and teamwork that continue to shape his leadership today.

As Dean of Student Success and School Culture, Mr. Scarcella is committed to cultivating a joyful school culture rooted in virtue, authentic relationships, and the pursuit of truth. He considers it a privilege to partner with families in the sacred work of forming the next generation of faithful Christians and servant leaders.
